Identity+Vision+Mission

Cornerstone is the Bride of Christ and a body of worshipers who are being fit together as living stones into the temple of God. We long to see Cornerstone alive in her sacred union with God, discovering and stewarding the revelation of His heart and mind, interceding for His church and the world. The mission of Cornerstone is to be a catalyst of human flourishing through walking in the dominion of grace, leading others to enriched fulfillment in Christ, and creating / re-framing the culture around us.

Core Values

Spirit and Truth releasing Worship
Identity and Family inviting Belonging
Presence and Creativity unleashing Beauty
Courage and Leadership (re)building Foundations

The Apostles’ Creed

We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Church throughout all time and places, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Bible

The Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are the unique, divinely inspired, authoritative word of God that came through human agents under God’s providence. Its primary purpose is to make us wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:15) who is the ultimate revelation of Eternal Life that the Scriptures testify about (John 5:39; Luke 24:25-27).

Leadership

…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…
Cornerstone’s primary leadership is made up of staff members who focus on different aspects of The Great Commandment and The Great Commission. The Elders provide organization, accountability, and spiritual shepherding as they watch over the flock before them. Deacons serve the community practically through hospitality and benevolence. Our Apostolic Oversight Team (Netzer & Teaching the Word) ensures that we as a local church don’t negate the broader church and that we keep Christ as our foundation.
