Here at Cornerstone, we keep things purposely simple.  We refuse to program ourselves into oblivion; rather, we choose to do a few things very intensely.  Connecting at Cornerstone is pretty easy; if you come faithfully to our Sunday morning worship gathering and plug into a small group, it’s hard not to be connected.  We know you’re busy; everyone’s busy.  We know you’re tired; everyone’s tired.  Your spiritual health and connection to the Body is not the place to try and trim the fat. There are all kinds of ministry opportunities at Cornerstone and we expect each person in our Body to take part in at least one of those serving venues.  Leadership in our kids’ ministries, greeting, taking the offering, worship team, prayer ministry, these are just some of the ways you can give of yourself here at Cornerstone.  But give you must…it’s part of being who Jesus made you to be and we are here to lead you deeply into your identity in Jesus.

Small Groups
“No man is an island unto himself”.  We believe that community is the key to true relationship with Jesus.  That is why small groups are the heart of Cornerstone.  They’re not just a program of our church…they are the fullness of our church.

Our small groups exist to provide the oppurtunity for true community and spiritual growth for the purpose of creating and deepening authentic relationship.

Each small group is an entity unto itself with its own personality and feel, but each small group is centered on five things:

1. Relational Outreach: Reaching non-Believers in the Lebanon Valley with the message of Jesus through genuine relationships.

2. Pasionate, Truth-based Discipleship: Every member growing in a passionate pursuit of Christ.

3. Intimate Prayer: True community is a result of the work of the Holy Spirit. Therefore open, honest prayer is primary.

4. Loving Community: Christ-centered relationships defined by intimacy and trust, thus reulting in a nurturing family.

5. Multiplication: An ancient mandate that we are called to fulfill through relational outreach.
